Insurance

Thrive With Hypnosis LLC suggests you think of hypnosis services as something that you will pay for personally. That will both protect your privacy and help you value the work you are doing. In general, insurance companies are not open to covering hypnotic services, and we caution you not to expect them to do so.

Redress

I am a Board Certified/Certified member of the National Guild of Hypnotists and practice in accordance with its Code of Ethics and Standards. If you have a complaint about our services or behavior that Thrive With Hypnosis cannot resolve for you personally, you may contact the National Guild of Hypnotists at P.O. Approach

At Thrive With Hypnosis LLC, it is sincerely believed that we all harness incredible untapped power within our minds. The practice of hypnosis is designed to tap into that power and assist people in using that power to better their lives. A hypnotist is a change facilitator. You as the client assume equal responsibility by making a commitment to the change process, allowing yourself to be guided into a state of hypnosis and committing to do self-hypnosis between sessions.  No one can make you do something against your true will. Our services are supportive and educational, teaching clients to use their natural skills and abilities. We want you to succeed and pledge commitment to help you to the best of our ability. Hypnotism is a self-regulating profession, and its practitioners are not licensed by state governments. We are not a licensed "medical" or "psychological" professional and as a result, we do not provide a medical diagnosis nor recommend discontinuance of medically prescribed treatments. If you are being treated by a physician for medical and/or mental health issues, you need to consult with him/her before your hypnosis session. Where deemed necessary, we may ask for a written agreement from your physician or licensed health care provider before our work together continues.

The Commitment to You

The office promotes a positive and inclusive environment for all clients. We are committed to anti-racism, anti-homophobia, anti-transphobia, anti-ableism, and anti-fat bias. All are welcomed, respected, and valued here. In the event a client terminates services at Thrive With Hypnosis LLC, the client has a right to coordinated transfer of services to another practitioner when requested in writing. A client has the right to refuse hypnosis services at any time. A client has the right to be free of physical, verbal, or sexual abuse. A client has a right to know the expected duration of treatment and may assert any right without retaliation.

I am over age 18 and consent to hypnosis services offered by Debra Raftery, MA, Certified Consulting Hypnotist of Thrive With Hypnosis LLC.
